If you’re looking for an athletic-looking ride that will stand out on the street, you’ll love the 2020 Ford Edge ST-Line. This newest choice in the Ford SUV lineup combines a performance-inspired interior with plenty of efficient power.
“Edge ST continues to break new ground with terrific styling, powerful performance, and smart technology,” said Craig Patterson, Ford SUV marketing manager. “But some customers want style and value and don’t need all of the horsepower. For them, Edge ST-Line hits the bull’s-eye — again.”
The ST-Line model has a starting price that is $8,600 CDN less than the Edge ST, while still delivering the aggressive, athletic styling cues that customers love. It also comes with advanced safety features that will help you feel more confident behind the wheel while you’re driving around Toronto.
On the exterior, the Edge ST-Line features a unique ST-style grille with body-coloured bumpers, black ST beltline molding, and signature LED lighting. It also has unique Edge ST-Line badging, black roof rack side rails, and 20-inch gloss black aluminum wheels.
Under the hood, the Edge ST-Line comes with a 2.0-litre EcoBoost® engine with Auto Start-Stop, which produces 250 horsepower and comes paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. It also comes available with all-wheel drive.
Ford is now taking orders for the 2020 Edge ST-Line, and you can learn more about how to get one for yourself by contacting us here at Downtown Ford in Toronto.
The Mustang Mach-E SUV embodies the Mustang spirit, flaunting a sleek silhouette and muscular stance while providing unique driving dynamics and an exhilarating experience behind the wheel. The Mach-E will come available with standard and extended-range battery options, helping it target an EPA-estimated range of at least 475 km.
“The Mustang Mach-E wholeheartedly rejects the notion that electric vehicles are only good at reducing gas consumption,” said Hau Thai-Tang, the chief product development and purchasing officer for Ford. “People want a car that’s thrilling to drive, that looks gorgeous, and that can easily adapt to their lifestyle — and the Mustang Mach-E delivers all of these in unmatched style.”
The Mach-E will offer both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive options. When equipped with the extended-range battery and rear-wheel drive, the Mach-E will be able to achieve up to 332 horsepower and 417 lb-ft of torque. It’s also targeting quicker times to 60 mph than the base Porsche Macan series when equipped with all-wheel drive.
Along with its battery options, the Mach-E will also have two special performance options. The GT model will surge 0-60 mph in under 4 seconds, while the GT Performance Edition targets a mid-3-second range and boasts an estimated 459 horsepower and 612 lb-ft of torque.
The all-electric Mustang Mach-E SUV will be available at Downtown Ford and other dealerships across Canada in late 2020.
